Beforehand, just in case: possible trigger warning for encouraged violence, a girl who is clearly a nut, racism (though if she IS Asian, I think it would be prejudice. Please correct me if I’m wrong), victim blaming, possible homophobia/a slur for homosexuals and wishing death on large groups of innocent people. If any of these are severely triggering for you, or you find them disturbing in a damaging way, please do not read this. I wouldn’t want to do that to you.

Also, a second note: When I discuss the racism/prejudice she shows, I don’t mean explicitely against white people, though a lot of it focuses on them. White people can’t experience racism and experience prejudice instead, etc. However, she openly admits to being racist, shows extreme prejudice, and it’s usually against whites, but also includes Mexicans and other Asians. Just so you know this isn’t BAWW BAWW WHITE GIRL FEELING OPPRESSED.

So, as anyone who follows weeabostories or dumbdeviant art probably knows, there’s recently been some dA wank about a girl who considers herself a troll and bullied, harrassed, and stole from various Alois cosplayers at a con because she dislikes Alois. And she’s proud of it. She gloated about it in her dA journal, and announced plans to do it again.

We’ve also learned that she apparently believes she is married to Ciel Phantomhive, owns him, and this is why she despises Alois so much, and by extension his cosplayers.

When called out on this by hundreds of people on her dA page, she deactivated her account and attempted to dissapear. And that was the end of it, right?

If what this girls behavior in things that have been found after shows? No.

Out of curiosity, I decided to run her username through a google search.

The first thing I got was her page, now deactivated. The next, however, was a commentary she made on a friend’s submission, which happened to be a cosplay of Alois.

She proceeds to call the cosplay disgusting and say it should be killed. She then says only A “f*g” would cosplay Alois, and only someone who is just like him, and “fuck them” when her friend asks her to respect the cosplayer at least. Her friend inquires as to whether she would be a considered a f*g should she cosplay him, and Kuroi says yes, she would. She then says “I would kick your ass. But won’t kill you. But I’m going to almost kill you.”. For cosplaying a character she dislikes. Note, this isn’t in a joking tone. She is completely serious, as you’ll see as we get farther in.

They chit chat for a while, before Kuroi says they should cosplay together, and that she has a “Trancy proof” Ciel outfit ready. And then gives us this clearly sane gem: “When I get to Fanimecon…they will all die.” And proceeds to say how she thinks their (and remember, we’re not talking about Alois. We’re talking about people who cosplay as him.) death would be better for everyone. She also decides to throw in some racism/prejudice about how her area has too many Mexicans and other Asians, and that you need to grow up tough so when you go to the States, you will be feared. After some idle chatter about fights, the conversation gets dropped.

(I get the impression here the friend was very uncomfortable with what she was saying, but not willing to stand up and call her out beyond requesting she be respectful of the cosplayer.)

Now, something I considered was that, hey, maybe she’s built a rep on dA, and has to uphold it there. Clearly she’s just a little obssessive, but it can’t be that bad.

Then I found her Gaia.

In the official Kuroshitsuji Thread, she chats with various people. At some point, a girl tells her about how she saw a boy who looked like Alois hitting a girl, and slapped him so he’d leave her alone. Kuroi then commends her for this, only to add that she should have a.) hit the girl for letting the boy hit her (because, you know, she totally let him beat on her) and b.) set the boy on fire. Not because he hit her. Oh, no. Because he happened to look like Alois.

The bastion of sanity, ladies and gents.

But it doesn’t end there. Later, someone mentions wondering what they should do if they see someone who even looks like Alois (Though they refer to it as “a Trancy”). Kuroi’s response?

“You nail them to the floor and slowly drop dripping melted wax on them and surround it in a ring of gasoline and alcohol. Video tape it. Then throw the match on it.”

For daring to look like Alois Trancy, even if you have no idea who he is.

Also she hates Lizzie and wants her to die, even after proving she’s a BAMF, but that isn’t exactly unusual in our fandom. Also, from what I can gather, she apparently thinks Yana is changing things for HER, and she…is represented by Lizzie in terms of being Ciel’s wife/how she grew up to be? IDK. Also at one point in a non-related thread she says she hate tatoos of spider’s because Alois has one. (A spider, not a tattoo.)

Also, she has a penchant for throwing around slurs about homosexuals. And at one point uses the N-word.

When not attacking innocent cosplayers, throwing around slurs, or encouraging unwarrented violence, apparently she likes to “crush other fans” of people she likes because she doesn’t “want to share them”.

And she thinks white people shouldn’t cosplay because “it’s rare to find someone who doesn’t look horrible more than 30% of the time.” (I paraphrased.) And apparently, despite being Asian herself, allegedly, she can’t tell when someone is Japanese or is just another Asian-type. She also believes people who want to be Asian should go to California to see what Asians are really like. Link here.

Previous to that she admits to being racist, that she hates when white people try to cosplay, and ESPECIALLY when they try to cosplay Ciel. She admits that she yells at them for it, and considering her behavior so far, I wouldn’t be surprised if she means she randomly gets in there faces by surprise and starts shrieking. Also she hates seeing white people cosplay, but goes to cons anyway. (And then aformentioned yelling ensues, I’m assuming.)

And that’s as far back as Gaia will take me.

I haven’t managed to find anything else.

For those going JFC DO YOU LACK A LIFE ENOUGH TO HAVE DONE THIS? Yes. Yes I do. I am waiting to leave for college, and thus have all the free time in the world. also I am peeved at the audacity of this girl and the fear she has caused in others.

But please know that despite that, I’m not trying to harrass this girl the way she did others. I am not attempting to bully her in return. I am attempting to show people this in an effort to get it out there that there is someone who is clearly disturbed when it comes to this fandom (and others), and could very well target anyone I know (and don’t) simply for cosplaying or looking like the character of Alois Trancy.

If anyone knows this girl IRL, please tell someone what’s going on. If this is what she is really like, please tell someone and get her help. Not only will you be helping her, but you’ll be helping the people she has hurt in the past, and plans to in the future.

And for anyone cosplaying Alois or apparently Ciel (if you’re white) in the California area, please be care, please be safe, stay in groups, and if you run into her report her.

Do not let her get away with this kind of behavior.

Do not let her scare or intimidate you.

If force is necessary to defend yourself against her, or ward her off, by all rights, punch her face in.

Do whatever you can to keep yourself safe and unbullied, and to keep her from doing this to others.

EDIT: Not sure if it’s true, but according to an anon on /cgl/, they work at the con and informed the Division Head, who doesn’t care. Does anyone know if something can be done about this? If it can be taken to a higher group?

EDIT THE THIRD: ~~According to a FormSpring question answered a year ago, she’s only eighteen. (She was seventeen at the time it was answered.)~~ Read the thing wrong. Someone responded with “I’m 17.”, and she asked “what’s it like to be outsmarted by someone five years younger than you?”. This was a year ago. She’s thirteen posing as a 22 year old. Allegedly her name is Katelynn as well. Signs are pointing to internet-tough-girl tween who only pretends to be Asian.
